Mentoring Church Planters

Get a clear vision of what God wants to accomplish through mentoring. Learn how to mentor a church planter.

Mentors help keep church planters on task and their vision in focus. Whether a planter needs help staying on course, avoiding church planting ‘landmines’ or encouragement to take a much needed prayer retreat, a mentor can help.

Three full days are spent in an interactive, comprehensive training designed to enable mentors to coach, shepherd and supervise church planters.

This newly revised Becoming a Mentor track will help you:

1. Get a clear Vision of what God wants to accomplish through you when mentoring Church Planters.

2. Outline and reinforce what is essential for a Church Planting Mentor.

3. To prepare a Plan to fulfill your vision as a mentor and movement leader.

4. Map out the action steps needed to fulfill your plan.

Sessions equip you to:

- Discover what church planters need, don’t need and don’t know they need.
- Look inside the heart of a church planter.
- Understand the four phases of church planting.
- Know the characteristics of a "model mentor".
- Prepare for the seasons of mentoring.

Healthy Church Dynamics

for leaders of existing churches

Each of our body's systems are vital to one another; so it is with a church. In this helpful training, you'll learn the eight systems in the body of Christ that are critical in becoming a healthy church.

You'll learn how to increase the survival rate of your church, how to help your church be healthy, and how to prepare for successful reproduction.

In this training leaders learn:

- Use different ministry skills for 6 key phases of church growth.
- Recognize how the size of a church impacts ministry.
- Prepare to reproduce.
- Deal with discouragement, difficult people and time demands.
- Implement strategic systems for healthy church development.
- Evaluate your church regularly to assess the why and how of effective ministry.

House Church Planting

for church planters of micro-churches

In this model-based training, leaders discover the impact and reproducibility of planting a house church. This interactive and practical training will equip you to recognize the potential for house churches in your community, outline your Vision, Plan, and Timeline (VPT) for launch, start recruiting a team, and start seeing fast multiplication!

In this training leaders learn:

- Understand God's desire and His final goal.
- Identify four kinds of harvest fields.
- Spread Gospel seeds through the two important stories.
- Implement key strategies for cultivating growing seeds.
- Use the nine practices for gathering believers and appointing leaders.
- Insure continual productivity through leader multiplication.

Certified Trainer

This interactive training track is typically paired with another DCPI training track, as an additional 5-6 hours of instruction that will equip you to do trainings, understand the organization of DCPI, and develop your roadmap as a trainer.

In this dynamic training, you will learn the 13 Biblical Principles of church planting movements, how to receive a vision from God, how to recruit a team, and how to organize your movement.
